Terry Mahn and The Stylist Closet presents
Fashion Remix
by Ian L.

Local stylist Terry Mahn from The Stylist Closet wanted to put on a little show for this year's Boston Fashion Week. Little did she know how interested everyone was in participating and soon enough, her little show became a big production.

Over twenty five young models strutted their stuff on the steamy stage at Hotel 140. It was steamy due to a lack of air conditioning but the vintage fashions styled by Terry were equally as hot. Models wore a huge collection of vintage coats, jackets, furs and separates in a fast paced and high energy show.

All this fun wasn't without purpose. The vintage clothing from the runway was available for purchase immediately after the show. Proceeds from the sales went to Dress for Success, a national non-profit organization that provides professional clothing and training for disadvantaged women that need help finding and retaining employment.

The Fashion Remix show was fun for all those involved. Terry had no idea how big and how much work the production would become. She currently has no plans to do the same show for next year but there's always a possibility that something else can be done.
