Georges Chakra Edition Fall 2010 Collection
This is year my first time reviewing the work of Lebanese designer Georges Chakra an I must say I'm very impressed.
Though Georges is known more as a couture designer (he recently showed his couture collection in Paris during Couture Fashion Week) his work for his ready-to-wear line Edition by George Chakra is turning out to be my favorite of the two.
My favorites from Georges Chakra's Fall 2010 collection were the long red dresses; the color was striking. Also tops on my list were the silver metallic dresses, both long and short, and the gold dress. I'm sure we'll spot a few of those on the red carpet sometime soon.
The final dress of the collection, the gray and silver lattice print gown with the long red gloves (pictured left) seems to have a favorite Georges Chakra client in mind. Don't be too surprised to see Helen Mirren in that gown for her next red carpet romp.
