Simon's Fashion Now hosts:
Jeury Rosario Fashion Show
by Ian L.

Aside from hosting the Mass Art Wearable Art Exhibit at Burlington Mall, Simon Malls also showcased a series of fashion shows called Fashion Now during Boston Fashion Week 2009. Fashion Now included  a fashion show for major retailers such as Nordstrom and for local designer and Mass Art alum Jeury Rosario. Jeury was chosen by his former professors to be featured in Fashion Now for his beautiful dresses.

Dominican born Jeury Rosario graduated from the Mass College of Art fashion design program in 2003 with honors. He went on to intern at Priscilla of Boston, designed and illustrated for Alfred Fiandaca and furthered his education at the Paris Fashion Institute in France.

Since then, Jeury has gained recognition designing gowns for the beauty pageant circuit. His gowns have been worn by Susie Castillo, Miss USA 2003 and Amelia Vega, Miss Universe 2003. Jeury designs from his studio in Lawrence where his gowns are made to order. It's also where he teaches design independently.

For now, Jeury has no plans to design casual wear or day wear. His love is for evening wear and it clearly shows with his beautiful creations. I hope to see more of Jeury Rosario's gowns for years to come.
