Leave it to Lisa Pierpont and her team at Boldfacers to put together the hippest pop ups in Boston. For two nights only, the Boldfacers studio at Channel Center Street became chic central as it hosted a pop up shop and party for every woman's iconic must have item of clothing, the little black dress.
But unlike other pop ups, Boldfacers does it with style with DJ Emarce spinning tunes and with an oh-so convenient Cold River Vodka bar nearby. Shoppers had a choice of black dresses (with accessories on the side) from the hippest shops in and around Boston such as Stil, Stel, Portobello Road, Riccardi, The Tannery, Calypso, Habit, Holiday, Matsu, and Twilight. They also invited local favorite designers Millie Bautista, Daniela Corte, Nirva, Sam Mendoza and Michael De Paulo to sell their wares and to party with the people.
In case you missed out in all this pop up shop and party fun, don't fret. Open up a day or two from your calendars in January as Boldfacers will host two more pop ups: Fashion Glamfest and Fashion Stylist Swap. Be sure to check with Boldfacers for all the details.
